Kia Ora, I'm Putaanga

WHAKA AHUA - in Māori translation means to photograph or photographer yet in the depths of reo Māori it also means to uphold the mana of a persons āhua which is the intention of my place behind the lens.

She really sees her subjects, capturing their essence within their image. That she is able to imbue her portraits with a confluence of both mana and vulnerability is testimony to her ability to make connections, to tell stories by showing
